CSR Charter
Acting Responsibly and Sustainably
Sustainable development aims to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. At Work With Island, we embody this commitment through a structured approach focused on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
CSR, by applying these principles at a corporate level, seeks to harmoniously balance three essential pillars: economic profitability, social equity and environmental protection.

Our Mission
Work With Island's mission is to design and manufacture innovative and sustainable acoustic booths.
With our products we aim to improve the comfort and productivity of employees and workspaces in general.
All this while minimising our impact on the environment and making a positive contribution to society.
Our CSR Commitment
We recognise that every decision and activity of our business has an impact on society and the environment.
Corporate Social Responsibility has therefore become a key strategic focus for Work With Island. We are committed to taking full responsibility for these impacts, accounting for them transparently and ensuring that our actions respect human and environmental values.
This charter formalises our values, objectives and actions in relation to CSR and forms the basis of our commitment to people and the planet.

1. Ethical and Transparent Governance
We ensure transparent and ethical governance based on integrity and compliance with laws and regulations.
Transparency and Ethics
We document and make available our decision-making processes to ensure ethical management.
Our partnerships are based on shared values of respect and honesty, including the fight against corruption, fair business practices, financial transparency and rigorous internal financial controls.
We are committed to combating all forms of illegal labour, including forced and child labour.

Collaboration and Decision-Making
To ensure a solid and collaborative governance, we operate with a structured participatory process. We involve stakeholders in strategic decisions via tools such as NPS feedback, product surveys and polls.
The Executive Committee brings together directors from different teams to enable collegial and strategic decision-making. This forum also provides the opportunity to invite external experts to provide specialist advice on key issues, thereby enhancing the diversity of perspectives and the quality of decisions.
The Board of Investors, made up of our major investors, provides valuable guidance and supports our long-term vision while ensuring the viability of our projects.

2. Eco-Design and Sustainable Products
At Work With Island, we place environmental responsibility at the heart of our design process, with the top priority being to reduce the environmental impact of our products while ensuring their performance and durability.
Materials and Production
Our products are made from recycled and sustainably sourced materials, carefully selected to limit their environmental footprint.
We incorporate innovative solutions such as insulation made from recycled textiles or wood from sustainably managed forests.
Every step of our production process is designed to promote waste reduction, reuse and recycling, in line with a circular economy approach.
As part of our efforts to conserve resources, we have set an ambitious target to keep the weight of packaging below 5% of the total weight of the finished product. This approach helps reduce waste while ensuring optimal protection for our products.
Our commitment to zero waste is at the heart of our value chain. From the design to the end of life of our booths, we prioritise processes that reduce, reuse and recycle materials. This principle is embodied in our refurbished booth project, which includes an end-of-life take-back service to maximise product recovery and reintroduction into the production cycle.

Innovation and Objectives
Every product we design undergoes a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a key tool that allows us to evaluate its environmental impact at every stage: raw material extraction, manufacturing, transport, use and end of life. These assessments help us identify areas for improvement to optimise design, materials used and industrial processes.
To reduce our carbon footprint, we are committed to reducing our carbon intensity by 4% per year. To achieve this, we are focusing on optimising materials, manufacturing processes and logistics. We also favour short supply chains and local suppliers to reduce transport impacts while supporting local economies.
The quality and durability of our products is central to our commitment. By designing robust and functional pods, we reduce the waste of resources while meeting the needs of our customers. Investing in the longevity of our products means contributing to more responsible and environmentally conscious consumption
We regularly measure our progress and set concrete targets to improve our CSR performance.
These indicators include:
• Calculating the carbon footprint of each product, using Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
• The percentage reduction in waste generated throughout the value chain.
• The percentage of new products that are remanufactured.
• The amount of recycled textiles used in the manufacture of our acoustic insulation.
• The number of full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs created in France, demonstrating our commitment to local employment.
Each year, we evaluate our CSR objectives in order to adapt our actions and remain in line with social and environmental expectations. This approach is accompanied by the publication of a transparent annual report. The report outlines the actions taken, the successes achieved and the challenges faced, providing a comprehensive overview of our progress.
3. Responsible Supply Chain
Criteria and standards
We select suppliers who share our CSR values and closely monitor their practices. Our selection criteria include environmental commitment and decent working conditions.
We prioritise short supply chains between factories and suppliers to minimise our carbon footprint and support local economies.
All of our key suppliers, representing more than 5% of our spend, are required to sign and adhere to our Code of Conduct. We only work with suppliers who hold recognised certifications, such as ISO 14001 or FSC, that demonstrate their responsible practices.
We actively support companies that promote social inclusion, particularly for people with disabilities.
Audit and Monitoring
We conduct regular audits to assess the social and environmental practices of our suppliers. We also ensure full traceability across our entire supply chain, including all components of our booths.
4. Employee well-being and working conditions
-
1
Health and Safety
At Work With Island, we have implemented rigorous measures to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
This includes the installation of emergency equipment and appropriate systems to prevent incidents. Regular fire safety trainings are organised, combining theoretical modules with practical exercises such as the use of fire extinguishers and evacuation drills.
We also encourage our employees to use sustainable transport and organise sports activities to promote their physical and mental well-being. -
2
Professional Training and Development
Developing the skills of our employees is a strategic pillar of our CSR approach. We support each employee with two performance reviews a year, enabling to identify areas for improvement and highlight achievements.
At the end of the year, a detailed review is conducted to set clear objectives that are aligned with individual aspirations and the needs of the business. These reviews feed into personalised career plans that provide long-term growth opportunities.
In addition, we commit to training our employees according to their current and future needs, enabling them to choose programmes that meet their needs. Hands-on learning materials are also provided to support self-directed development. -
3
Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity is at the heart of our culture. We strive to foster an inclusive environment based on mutual respect and the celebration of individual talents.
We ensure fair representation for all, regardless of their race, gender and sexual orientation and provide career development opportunities for all, reinforcing a culture of fairness and recognition. -
4
Work-Life Balance
We value work-life balance by offering flexible remote working options and hybrid options.
We also provide personalised support during major life events to ensure the peace of mind and well-being of our team members.
5. Community Impact and Customer Engagement
Awareness and Transparency
We believe it is our responsibility to educate and raise awareness of environmental and social issues among our customers, partners and communities. We share our vision and commitment through factory tours, international trade shows and other exchanges.
This approach includes clear communication about the materials and manufacturing processes used, enabling our customers to make informed and responsible choices.
Quality commitment and Customer service
Product quality is at the heart of our promise. Our pods are designed to meet standards of durability, safety and comfort, and are consistent with a model of responsible consumption.
Our after-sales service reflects this commitment by dealing efficiently with faulty products. We adopt a customer-centric approach and maintain a high level of excellence at every stage.
Refurbishment projects and End-of-life products
As part of a circular economy approach, we are developing a range of refurbished acoustic pods. This initiative includes a take-back service for products at the end of their lifecycle, ensuring recovery and reducing the amount of waste generated.
This project reflects our commitment to reducing our environmental impact while providing sustainable solutions for our customers.
Customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
We regularly measure customer satisfaction using tools such as the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
This allows us to gather valuable feedback, better understand our customers' expectations and continually improve our products and services.
Social Contribution and Employment
By manufacturing our products in Europe, we actively contribute to the creation of local jobs and support the regional economy.
In addition, our commitment to transparency, quality and training strengthens the trust of our customers and partners, while having a lasting positive impact on the communities in which we operate.
Conclusion
This charter embodies our commitment to a more responsible, fairer and greener future.
We are continually improving our practices by listening to our stakeholders and integrating innovation into our operations. Together with our customers, suppliers, employees and partners, we are building a sustainable business model that serves society and the planet.
This Charter is the foundation of our approach and reflects our determination to make an active contribution to the social and environmental challenges of today and tomorrow.
