The Desk pod reduces noise by up to 31.1 dB, according to ISO 23351-1. Its multi-layer structure, combining wood, recycled Métisse® and acoustic felt, effectively isolates voices while preventing echo. From the outside, you’ll hear almost nothing. Inside, you feel alone but not cut off from the world.
Delivered and installed in a flash
Our booths are installed in under one hour, no tools, no hassle. A standard power socket is enough. The flat-pack design means they can be taken apart, moved, and reassembled easily.
Designed to last
Made in Europe from PEFC-certified wood, recycled glass, and Métisse® insulation made from upcycled textiles. Our pods are Origine France Garantie certified. We keep it simple, but we do it well and built to last.

What is the soundproofing level of the Desk booth?
Our Island Desk offer an average reduction of 31,1 dB. In practice, it turns a noisy environment at 70 dB (busy classroom, loud open space) into a calm space at 40 dB (quiet office, silent library). They are class A certified under ISO 23351-1, the market reference since 2020.
What are the delivery times and how long does assembly take?
Delivery takes less than 8 weeks. Assembly takes under 30 minutes for an Island Solo booth. Our professional team handles the installation.
What is the recommended usage duration for a Desk booth?
There is no maximum usage limit. The booth can host a quick 15 minute call or a 90 minute video meeting. It stays comfortable thanks to its continuous ventilation and ergonomic design.
How does the ventilation system work?
Ventilation is powered by fans placed in vibration absorbing foam blocks for quiet operation. Warm air exits through an upper channel that limits sound transmission. Fresh air enters from the base through dedicated inlets for constant airflow.
If we move offices, is the booth easy to relocate?
Yes. The booth is delivered as a modular kit. Two people can dismantle and reassemble it in about 30 minutes. You can move it or take it with you whenever your needs evolve.
What customisation options are available?
Our booth exist in two colours.
- Light version: glass door and white frame, large melamine shelf with oak/white finish, marble grey felt exterior, light grey cushioned bench seat
- Dark version: glass door and black frame, large melamine shelf with oak/black finish, charcoal grey felt exterior, dark grey cushioned bench seat
Is it possible to test a Work With Island booth before buying?
Yes. You can see and test the booths in one of our eight showrooms by booking a slot. If no showroom is near you, our team can organise a virtual presentation.
Why is the assembly option automatically added?
To offer the best possible experience, delivery, handling and assembly are included by default. To keep pricing fully transparent, the booth price and the delivery price are shown separately and added automatically to your order.
What after sales services and guarantees do you offer?
Our booths are guaranteed for 5 years against any material, manufacturing or design defect. We also provide an after sales service to support you if you encounter any issue. You also benefit from a 100 day trial on your first pod.
